Photographic services
It is the responsibility of the Photographic Services to document the collections of the Germanisches Nationalmuseum, to store the photographs of objects and to make them available for research.
In addition, the Photographic Services document the premises and design of special and permanent exhibitions.
For external scholars and collectors, the Photographic Services make digital images of objects in the museum. Existing ektachromes from the photo archive can also be digitised on request.
